A lifetime before "Runaway Train," Twin/Tone recording artists Soul Asylum were just another great bar band. Booze would flow, and by the end of the night, most everyone on and off the stage was sloppy. Soul Asylum would fall back on absurd covers of metal standards and AM radio fare.
